Bistro Express was born when the clients of renowned catering company La Bonne Cuisine Catering and Events kept asking us to cater to their office needs after partnering with us for their special events. With almost 25 years serving the Bay area under our belt, we got to understand very well that although there are some differences between a special event and everyday office catering needs, they do have a few things in common: food should be fun (boring is not in our vocabulary), healthy (or healthy-ish , but always nutritious) and affordable...

FAQs

How do you keep your prices so affordable?

We offer the same daily menu options to all the companies we serve. That allows us to pass on the savings to you. We are, however, able to customize for dietary restrictions and your company’s unique culture and needs.

Do you offer beverages? How about dessert?

Yes, we do offer hot and cold beverage options as well as delicious and varied desserts. Contact us for options and pricing on these.

What are your delivery fees?

For companies that order 50 or more daily meals, there’s no delivery fees. For companies that order less than 50 daily meals, there’s a $50 delivery fee.

Is set-up included?

Yes, we will set up the food for you. All you have to do is show up and enjoy!

Is service included? Will someone be there to serve the food and clean up afterwards?

Our standard service is drop and go, so we won’t be there to serve or clean up. However, we can offer this service at an additional fee.

Do you accommodate special dietary restrictions?

Absolutely! We live for accommodating dietary restrictions, and we specialize in vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and keto diets.

Can you tell me more about your rewards program?

We are in the food business because we believe that food brings people together. Whether your company has 30 or 300 employees, we will create a team building experience for your team for each 6 months of daily participation of our food program.

Do you have a referral program?

We love referrals! For any new client that you refer and signs up with us, we will give you a $200 Amazon gift card.

How does your satisfaction guarantee work?

If we don’t meet your expectations at any time, we will do our best to make it up to you. That also includes refunding your money if you are not completely satisfied.

Can you tell me more about the ingredients you use?

We love to talk about ingredients. We try to source as much as possible from local and sustainable suppliers. We are located in Berkeley, CA, which has a bounty of high-quality food producers. We also follow Monterey Aquarium Seafood Guidelines. Your food will be cooked in the same kitchen and by the same chefs that produce award-winning events for La Bonne Cuisine Catering and Events (link to LBC)

Do I have to commit to service 5 days a week?

No. We are able to to serve your company 2-5 days a week.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. There are no long-term commitments. You can cancel your program at any time.
